Welcome to the 46th Langlauf,  

Wow, I can’t believe this will be the 46th Langlauf. We hope you will come up and help us celebrate 47 years of skiing over the hills and through the woods. (Langlauf started in 1980 but we had 2 cancellations due to no snow) so this is actually number 44. That should not be a problem this year.

Once again, this year we are offering an adaptive skier category. If you are visually impaired or a sit skier you will be able to participate in our Wave start, but at Junction 1, will continue on Linder Road to a turnaround at the Inland Paper gate then back to Brian’s and our traditional finish line. Adaptive skiers must register but their guide skier can accompany them for no cost.  Guides will need to sign a waiver the morning of the race and do not need to pay to register unless they want to be timed. Guides will be considered a volunteer and be entered in the prize drawing. If you are an adaptive skier we ask that you register by Jan 10th so we can prepare.

We are also continuing our tradition of free registration for participants ages 10 and under, with a paid adult registration. Make sure and tell all your friends!

For the rest of our participants the race follows our now traditional 10k course around the Nordic Trails at Mount Spokane State Park. Maps are posted in Selkirk Lodge and on our website. Get there early and you can have the wax pros from the Nordic Hut apply the wax of the day for free to your skis. 

As in the past, we will be starting at 10AM, with wave starts for each group.

Langlauf is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds generated by the race are redirected back to the Nordic ski community in the form of scholarships to the Junior Racing and Adaptive skiing programs or trail improvements like the Tripp’s Knob Warming Hut and the purchase of the snowmobile for volunteer grooming and course work. With this in mind we encourage you and your families to support the businesses that support us. Most of our sponsors have participated for years. As a result of their sponsorship, we will be giving away prizes based on a random drawing. Thanks again to our wonderful sponsors and to you for participating.
